Stephanie: Anytime Shoot

August 4, 2010

It was a beautiful Sunday morning as the sun rose over the rising skyline of downtown.  I’ve only been there during the nightfall when the hustle and bustle of the city takes over and the noise of people enjoying life is all that fills your ears, but that morning it was as if the whole world had somehow dissapeared from the normal we were used to seeing.  No cars in sight, no horns, no loud music wafting from the double doors of a popular club. Just the sound of the air, our endless chatter and the little patter of puppy feet hitting the ground that belonged to Stephanie adorable Chihuahua “Lola” who was quite the Diva in her sassy red dress!

I was so excited when Stephanie asked me to shoot her Bio photos for her up and coming website.  Stephanie is a great designer and wedding planner!  The last wedding we did together she personally hand strung crystals on about what seemed like 50 Centerpieces and made sure every detail was beyond perfection.  She is creative, and has a personality that people would only be so lucky to have in a friend.  I am so excited for her future prospects and know that the sky isn’t the limit for her!

Here are some great photos from our day.

P.S. After a successful shoot downtown, we sat outside and enjoyed some delicious french toast at a quaint restaurant while catching up with great company.  I might have gained 5 pounds from that toast, but it was so worth it!

Light, Camera…

I tried to keep both arts alive, but the camera won. I found that while the camera does not express the soul, perhaps a photograph can!

Make a Wish…

“It gives one a sudden start in going down a barren, soney, street, to see upon a narrow strip of grass, just within the iron fence, the radiant dandelion, shining in the grass, like a spark dropped from the sun”

-Henry Ward Beecher
