I’m the girls who’s laugh sounds like the wicked witch of the west, who’s dog is named after the Playboy Mogul Hugh Hefner,  Who when mad gets a very Boston accent. The girl who can walk 5 miles in the mall, but not 1 mile on a treadmill.  Who’s love God, and who’s Mother is her hero. I’m Missy.

 Since I was young I always felt a flutter of excitment when I clicked the shutter of a camera, and I loved the anticipation of going into a local convience store and dropping my film off for 1 hour prints. It always felt like the Christmas morning when I was a child, when I ran downstairs brighteyed to find my Barbie Doll Pink Dream House awaiting me with a crisp red tag that read “From Santa.” 
As I became older I usually always had a camera in my hand, but life seemed to moved as quickly as the ocean waves during a storm, and eventually my camera’s became a distant focus.  That was however until my trip to New York City where I picked up my brand new camera and drank in the sights as if it was the last place on earth with water supply.  From that moment on  I dreamed awake and asleep about photography.  It felt like our first date again and it was head over heels “love at first sight”.

It was then that I started Missy Desiree Photography and haven’t looked back.
